3D TV Fest Brings Teen Concert Idols to Home Screen
Astral Media’s The Movie Network is programming its first-ever 3D TV content.
Its network premieres of Disney’s Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds 3D on Saturday, October 17 and Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience on Saturday, October 24 will be aired in 3-D.
While some 3D content can be see with out the use of glasses (it’s known as autostereoscopy), some content does still require the wearing of polarized glasses.
TMN’s content falls in the latter category. So, in conjunction with retailer Walmart, TMN viewers can get a pair of 3D glasses free of charge at select locations.
