Headspin

We have been working with  the Graphics Lab and Fakespace Labs to put a Four Barrel Holley on the Spinning Display.  It was packed in a rental truck last night and is being driven to Siggraph with Andrew Jones and Magnus Lang behind the wheel. The installation presents a 3D teleconferencing system that enables true eye contact between a three-dimensionally transmitted subject and multiple participants in an audience.  HeadSPIN represents the most recent iteration on the Live 3D Teleconferencing Display, which utilizes the 360 Lightfield Display: Now in Color and 2 times the frame rate! No, really, it works!  One more reason to go to SIGGRAPH2009 this year.
