Samsung, which leads the global flat-screen TV market, rolled out 40-, 46- and 55-inch 3D TVs, priced from HK$21,900 (US$2,820.5) to HK$48,900.

Texas-based market research firm DisplaySearch has forecast the global 3D TV market will be worth US$1.1 billion in sales this year and rise to $15.8 billion in 2015.
