Apparently, 2010 could be the year that we see advent of mobile devices that are capable of displaying 3D images — we know, something like this crops up every year. But, if communications futurologists are to be believed, there could be as many as 8 million handsets in circulation by the end of next year that can do just this.
According to reports, the technology will project 3D images out of the phone. An Indian company, known as Infosys, patented the technology to do this back in 2008 and, if reports are to be believed, plans to release it by the end of 2010
